If you are like me, then you know the value of a good education. These days, with the cost of college skyrocketing, it is often difficult to have the resources to pursue an education at all. But there is hope! You can learn practically anything online for free (or at least much cheaper).

These platforms let students listen in on lectures by leading professors from top US & Canadian universities such as MIT and Stanford, or provide students with a course curriculum so they can study at their own pace so that they can take care of other responsibilities such as work or taking care of children. There are so many different types of classes to choose from and it is nice to know that you don’t have to worry about taking the wrong type or choosing a class if you don’t like it.

General Education Classes
There are many colleges, universities and community colleges offering free general education classes. These classes are meant for new graduates and others who have stopped or dropped out of school for whatever reason. The courses are self paced and may be at a college or online at a computer with an Internet connection. The courses may offer various streams such as software programming or learning about different cultures in different parts of the world. Some programs even allow students to take full-length exams for certification in their major field such as nursing, pharmacy or law enforcement.
